Customer evidence

Verified customer experience

Verified customer experience is a separate evidence stream from supplier assurance and product assessment.

Verified customer experience is a separate evidence stream from supplier assurance. AI TrustMark records how far the reviewer identity, customer relationship and relevant product experience have been independently checked.

What a verified review means

A verified review means AI TrustMark has evidence supporting the stated verification level. It does not mean AI TrustMark endorses every opinion expressed by the reviewer.

Reviews and directory order

Once ranking eligibility is unlocked, directory order is determined by the Bayesian 1–5 verified-review aggregate. Payment cannot buy stars or a higher directory position.

Reviews are not assurance

Customer reviews, TrustMark status and the 0–100 Assurance Score are separate measures:

  • review stars reflect verified customer feedback;
  • a TrustMark records a verified assessment status for a named scope;
  • the Assurance Score is a separate product-assessment measure.

Unverified submissions

Unverified submissions do not count toward the verified-review aggregate. Public records should make the verification level clear.

Why the separation matters

A supplier can have positive customer experience without having undergone a product assurance assessment, and an assured product can still receive mixed customer feedback. Keeping these streams separate gives buyers more useful evidence.

Questions about verified reviews

What is a verified AI customer review? A verified review is customer feedback whose stated verification level is backed by evidence AI TrustMark has checked. It is not an endorsement of every opinion in the text.

Do review stars determine directory order? Yes, after ranking eligibility is unlocked. The Bayesian 1–5 verified-review aggregate sets directory order. Payment cannot buy stars or list position.

Are reviews the same as Assurance or a TrustMark? No. Reviews, TrustMark status and the 0–100 Assurance Score are separate measures and must not be substituted for each other.

Do unverified submissions count? No. Unverified submissions (including V0) do not count toward the verified-review aggregate.

Are unpublished reviews shown publicly? No. Reviews stay unpublished until real verified evidence exists. This page explains the model; it does not invent or display fake reviews.
