Frequently asked questions
What happens when I start an assessment? You apply for a named product at Bronze, Silver or Gold depth. AI TrustMark independently examines the evidence in scope and publishes what was checked, the depth used, and the outcome. Payment does not predetermine that outcome.
Do Bronze, Silver and Gold rank providers? No. They describe how deeply evidence was examined. They are not a vendor league table, not UKAS accreditation tiers, and not a substitute for ISO/IEC 42001.
Does payment buy a certificate? No. Payment funds investigation depth under published rules. It cannot improve the independently calculated 0–100 Assurance Score or guarantee a certificate.
What do I need to provide? Organisation and product identity, plus evidence for the chosen depth. Gold requires technical access where that examination is in scope. Related organisations, including AI Build, are assessed on the same terms and disclosed where required.
